Michael Cusumano, DDS

Dr. Michael Cusumano grew up in McLean, VA, and later graduated from Virginia Tech University with a degree in Finance before pursuing his passion for dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Dr. Michael is passionate about dentistry and brings the most up-to-date knowledge and skills to our practice. He has achieved notable career highlights, such as becoming Invisalign certified and completing an advanced dental implant course with renowned expert Dr. Gordon Christensen. His commitment to continuous learning ensures that he stays at the forefront of dental advancements.

In his free time, Dr. Michael enjoys staying active by working out, attending sports games and concerts, and listening to music. He can often be found at the stadium of our World Series Nationals, at the rink watching the Capitals, or hanging out with friends and cooking great food. When not out at sport events and concerts he loves watching films by directors Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, and Martin Scorsese.

Dr. Michael’s dental philosophy centers on treating everyone with compassion and respect. He believes in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment where patients feel at ease. His goal is to put a smile on patients’ faces while restoring and maintaining their dental health, ensuring they leave the office feeling confident and satisfied.
